Data Removal Requests

June 1, 2022

The GDPR introduced the right of individuals to have their personal data erased upon request. Since its introduction, this concept has been adopted by almost all other new privacy regulations. Also known as "the right to be forgotten," the right to erasure requires that a company remove a customer's data within one month of a verbal or written request. Data Removal Requests mean that a company has implemented a process for customers to make these requests and that the company honors them, in compliance with the GDPR and other regulations.
