A disaster recovery plan (DPR) is a document that contains outlines a company's response to unplanned incidents such as natural disasters, power outages, cyber attacks and any other disruptive events. The DPR contains strategies for minimizing the effects of a disaster so that the company can continue to operate or quickly resume key operations.
