SOC 2 Type I

A certification describing a service organization’s control processes and the suitability of how those controls are designed to achieve the SOC 2 objectives as of specific dates.Type I describes a service organization's systems and whether the design of specified controls meet the relevant trust principles. (i.e., Are the design and documentation likely to accomplish the goals defined in the report?)The SOC reports focus on controls which cover security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy.
